Will approach Prime Minister Modi against our “ill-treatment” by the Maha authorities: Rana par – Mail Bonus

Independent MP Navneet Rana and her MLA husband Ravi said on Monday that they would turn to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Interior Minister Amit Shah to draw attention to their alleged ill-treatment by Maharashtra authorities when the couple were recently jailed. Navneet Rana spoke to reporters here, saying that Uddhav Thackeray, the prime minister, “who pushed the BJP back” should not speak and blame Ranas for the principles.

Ranas also dismissed allegations that they had disrespected the courts by speaking to the media.

On May 4, a special court here, while providing bail for the couple, said that the duo should not commit a similar crime during bail and not address the media about anything related to the case.

The couple were arrested on April 23 by Mumbai police after announcing they would say “Hanuman Chalisa” outside Thackeray’s private residence, “Matoshree” here, which had angered Thackeray party Shiv Sena staff, leading to tensions. .

They were released from prison on May 5, after which Navneet Rana was admitted to a private hospital here. Her lawyer had then said that she had complained of hypertension, body aches and spinal inflammation.

She was discharged from hospital on Sunday.

“We are going to Delhi today to meet with all the leaders who respect women. I am going to meet the Prime Minister, the Minister of the Interior (Union) and President Lok Sabha and tell them how we were treated from prison to prison. I am going to complain about it, “said Navneet Rana, who was sympathetic to her husband.

Navneet Rana described Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut as a “parrot” and claimed he had talked about “burying the couple”.

“We had lodged a complaint against it here, but no action was taken. So I am going to Delhi to take up the matter,” she said.

The Ranas also denied any wrongdoing in court by speaking to the media.

“We did not talk about the crime, how it was recorded against us, sang ‘Hanuman Chalisa’ and Matoshree. We talked about how I was treated badly from incarceration in prison and how my health problems were avoided (ignored),” she said.

Lok Sabha member from Amravati wonders if it would be the fate of the masses if a public official like her could be treated “that way” in Maharashtra.

“So it was important for me to express myself and the constitution has given me the right to represent the public. No one should rob me of my right,” she said.

She said CM Thackeray should learn how to run the country from her predecessor and BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis.

“Devendra Fadnavis ji also ran the government for five years, but he was not that smart. Thackeray should learn from Devendra sahab how to run Maharashtra (government) and with what feelings,” she said.

She further said that Thackeray, “who pushed BJP back”, should not speak and blame Ranas for the principles.

Ravi Rana, an MLA from Badnera, Amravati, also sued CM Thackeray over Brihamumbai Municipal Corporation issuing a notice to the housing association as they live in the suburbs of Khar here following a complaint of illegal construction.

“Thackeray should check out our apartment online as he has only worked through the online platform for the past two and a half years,” he said.

“You (CM) can send Raut and (another Shiv Sena leader and prime minister) Anil Parab, right and left (hands), sitting idle. You can send them to take measurements (of the house) if there is any problem. We will welcome them, “said the MLA.

When asked, Ravi Rana said Ajit Pawar, Maharashtra’s deputy prime minister, should take information on how the couple were allegedly mistreated while in jail and jail.

“We were treated worse than a criminal,” he said, responding to Pawars’ comments that the duo had been offered tea when they were taken to the Khar police station before being arrested.
