Dolce & Gabbana, The Fabricant, Tribute Brand, IoDF, RED DAO and more come together for a historic weekend to showcase the most famous Digital Fashion NFTs and discuss the future of fashion and luxury
Today we are witnessing the beginning of a revolution – The introduction of NFT technology is paving the way for a new form of understanding, consumption and the experience of fashion and luxury. We are at a crossroads where the boundaries between physical and digital are becoming increasingly blurred. In addition to this, the idea of digital ownership and direct connection with authors brings a new dimension and possibilities that need to be explored.
Over the past 12 months, this new world has been born – history is created: on the one hand by traditional fashion brands innovating and creating new experiences for their customers, and on the other hand by a new type of native cryptocurrencies trying to redefine what fashion is. The Decentral Art Pavilion will create and foster dialogue for the fashion and luxury industry at this historic moment. The exhibition at Palazzo Giustinian Lolin from 27 to 29 May will showcase some of the most recognizable digital fashion NFT devices ever created.
Dolce & Gabbana NFT Genesis Museum
This 9-piece unique collection was first unveiled in August 2021 at the Dolce & Gabbana Alta Moda events in Venice and was personally designed by Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana. It contains completely handmade items in the collection category of the Dolce & Gabbana collections Alta Moda (women), Alta Sartoria (men) and Alta Gioielleria (jewelry). At a historic moment for the NFT ecosystem, Collezione Genesi is the first luxury NFT collection that includes both digital and physical works, truly bridging the physical and the metaphysical.
Five of the works in the exhibition will have their physical representation: two versions of “The Dress from a Dream”, in gold and silver, both with sparkling pearls and a crystal accent; “The Glass Suit”, emerald green men’s clothing, decorated in the same way; and two gold-plated and jewel-crowned silver crowns, called “The Lion Crown” and “The Doge Crown”. The latter is said to be NFT’s highest paid digital fashion to date, for approximately $ 1.3 million.
Exhibition of native digital fashion brands and collectors
Decentral Art Pavilion has partnered with the most innovative companies in the digital fashion world to host the NFT Digital Fashion Show. These native cryptocurrencies, which include Tribute Brand,
