NFT.NYC, one of the largest inflexible token events, is preparing to open its doors in its fourth year, to celebrate the diversity of NFTs in 16 sectors, including art, film, sports and ticket sales.
From June 20 to 23 in New York City, the event will serve as an international melting pot for everyone in the NFT world, featuring 1,500 speakers over panels, lectures, chatting by the fire and hundreds of pop-ups. Attendance figures are expected to fall from 5,600 last year to over 15,000 this time.
Cointelegraph spoke with Jodee Rich, co-founder of NFT.NYC; Quinn Button, vice president of its growth; and Web3 entrepreneur Michael Litman to hear more about their expectations for the event in New York. They also discussed how current market conditions could affect the momentum of the NFT movement and the artistic dialogue it engages in.
With a conscious focus on prioritizing community preferences over brands or companies, the NFT.NYC team selected 221 international artists from a 5,000-member application group to display their work on Times Square billboards and the entire Marriott hotel.
Following the event, these artists will have the opportunity to beat their work at a price of their choice and retain 75% of all revenue generated from the initial and subsequent sales. Special purchase information will be announced.
In collaboration with 221 community artists, we are very excited to launch “https://t.co/1IrDLHe1py 2022 Diversity of the NFT Art Museum”.
Artwork will be on display in Times Square and throughout the event. Some items will be available in mint.https: //t.co/cup0e2EYF7

Speaking of the ubiquitous NFT extremist community of the Big Apple, Rich said proudly that it was “a very diverse and diverse audience”:
“Our issue is to give society a voice. That’s what we wanted to do from the beginning. We are not an event looking for celebrities – we want the community to feel that this is a place where they can be on stage and talk to the rest of the community. “
This determined commitment to empowering young people and passion through the field is perhaps best evidenced by the presentation of Unconference – an unprepared, untimely field that welcomes all guests for 10 minutes to share their ideas and vision for the space.

Ether (ETH) is arguably the most inseparable asset in the NFT space, yet it is unsafe to maintain $ 1,200 prices at the time of writing, having already fallen by 35% this week.
This decline has had a huge impact on the price floors and purchasing attitudes of leading NFT museums – in particular, profile photo projects – pouring the space into the starting bear market.
When Rich talked about the potential impact this disaster could have on the overall narrative, Rich wanted to show that art is the main utility of NFT images and that his excitement remains for the connections and friendships formed at the event – especially, for example, those who are in quiet moments in free-spirited conversations and between speakers in the same field.
Button agreed that countless utility cases would be shown in the various sectors, with an emphasis on music as one to watch:
“I think one interesting benefit of NFTs will be how they will disrupt the music industry, whether it’s copyright, merchandise or generating new revenue to connect musicians with their fans.
Beneficial NFTs have experienced a rapid acceleration in the spotlight this year, especially in the context of supporting Ukraine’s humanitarian aid and cultural diversity program.
At NFT.NYC, topics within that field – such as sustainability, mental health and wellness, and charity – will be highlighted in a total of 28 panel discussions and a lecture in Edison Ballroom South hosted by Chingari from 21 to 22 June.
Senior Cointelegraph reporter Rachel Wolfson will hold a 15-minute firefighting talk on June 22 entitled “Breaking the Boys Club Culture in Crypto: How NFTs Are Bringing Women into Web3” at Edison Ballroom Main.
